March for Life 2011 - Knoxville, TN

 Sunday, January 23, The Knoxville chapter of Tennessee Right to Life held their annual March for Life between Calvary Baptist Church and Tyson Park in Knoxville. The march was preceded by as service at Calvary Baptist.

 Stacy Dunn was the emcee of the event, and she reported that SJR127 has a good chance of passing this year. This would pave the way for getting a pro-life amendment added to the Tennessee Constitution.









Alan Williams, WVLT News Anchor was the keynote speaker. Here is a video of his address:

State Senator Stacey Campfield read the proclamation by Governor Bill Haslam proclaiming Sunday as SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE SUNDAY.











State Representative Bill Dunn read a similar proclamation by Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett.
